The sea cliff climbing in the Gower Peninsula is a combination of trad climbing and sport climbing, and in some areas it's possible to climb straight from the beach. Port Eynon Bay is safe, sandy and award winning for adventure sports.

FAQs

The meeting point for climbing is Port Eynon Council Car Park, SA3 1NN.  If you're driving, parking costs £6 maximum to park in the car park.

The meeting time is 10:30. You'll meet your instructor here, get kitted up then head off on your activity. If running to the activity, please allow enough time to meet your instructor on time, and if you're driving, please allow enough time for any traffic and to park your car.  From the car park, it is a short 20 minute walk to the climbing location. The 3 hours of climbing will start when you get to the rock.

- Trainers / trail shoes / closed toe grippy shoes for climbing

- Loose, flexible clothing suitable for the weather at the time

-  Please avoid wearing short sleeves or short trousers as you may graze the rock

- Personal snacks, drinks, suncreams , cameras etc.

- Any medication you may need

Yes! The route to Port Eynon from Camp Love Trails is roughly 11km, on a mix of trail and bridleways. You'll need to run with any kit you need for the day, and factor in running back or taking public transport. Click here for an overview of the route.
